How do I know if TSNC is for me?
The Stitch Needlepoint Club is for anyone interested in the craft! We started TSNC as a way to bring stitchers of all experience levels together to learn and encourage one another in this incredible hobby. Similarly, not everyone has access to a Local Needlepoint Store (LNS) in their area so we hope that the virtual calls, discount codes, and camaraderie provide an outlet for those seeking a needlepoint community.

What does my membership fee include?
Your $8/month or $80/year membership fee covers the following :

- Access to all of our calls- which include stitch alongs, guest speakers, and tutorials. Can't make it to the live call? No sweat, members also get lifetime access to the video call recording.

- Compensating our monthly guest speakers- any guest who joins as a co-host is financially compensated for their time, energy and effort for joining us.

-Zoom- Because of the growing number of our group, we’ve upgraded our Zoom account to accommodate the number of participants allowed in each call. 

- Access to our exclusive TSNC Community Facebook. This is a collaborative community to troubleshoot, ask questions, share WIPs, connect with local friends for meet-ups and MORE!

- Early (and sometimes exclusive) access to merchandise, discount codes, promotions, destashing opportunities. 

Does TSNC meet in-person or just virtually?
While TSNC is a virtual needlepoint club, but we occasionally offer local opportunities for stitching in person. We also hope to plan retreats in the future, and encourage you to engage with other TSNC members in your area to stitch together, IRL! 

What is Substack?
Substack is an online website, similar to a blog or a newsletter. On our Substack, we keep all of our posts, zoom meeting links and communication with the group in one place. It is accessible on both laptops and smart phones, and has both free and paid access. Substack however, is separate from thestitchneedlepointclub.com.

I’m not on Facebook, can you use a different platform for the group?
While we’ve explored other platform options for our community, Facebook has been our initial landing spot. We’ve found it has been an easy platform for many users to navigate and connect through. That being said, the TSNC Facebook page is not everything- and paid members get access to perks like discount codes, video calls with experts in the needlepoint industry, etc. All of this information is posted on our Substack! Similarly, we’ve started group chats on Substack that allow members to connect that way as well! 

What time are the Zoom calls?
Our bi-monthly Zooms typically meet at 8pm Eastern. Some exceptions may occur and will be noted ahead of the meeting.

I am unable to attend the 8pm Eastern Zoom Calls- can you change the time?
We know that 8pm Eastern can be difficult time for some people, and not all members are on the East Coast! Each virtual call is recorded and posted within 24 hours of the meeting to our Substack for members to rewatch at their leisure. Based on member feedback, we have offered earlier and later meeting times and will continue to accept suggestions from our members looking for different meeting times!
